Map of Palm Beach CountyPalm Beach County is blessed with 47 miles of pristine sandy beaches along Florida's Gold Coast, extending from Singer Island at the North, through Boca Raton to the South. So named for the gold salvaged from shipwrecks just off shore, the deep blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean are constantly being refreshed by the Gulf Stream which creates some of the best sports fishing and scuba diving in the world. Great freshwater fishing is also available about an hours drive west from Palm Beach at Lake Okeechobee.

For those of you who prefer dry land, Palm Beach is home to the Professional Golfers Association and over 150 golf courses. The town is divided into two different areas, contiguous only by water. Some properties are located on the Atlantic Ocean and others are located on Point Manalapan, a guarded island community surrounded by the waters of the Intracoastal Waterway. In Manalapan you feel as though you're totally away from the maddening crowd, yet it's only a short 15 minute drive to Palm Beach to the North, or Delray Beach to the South. Anyone purchasing a home in Manalapan is offered a gratis membership to the Lacoquille Club, located within the world famous Ritz Carlton Hotel. Besides having their own private clubhouse, members are entitled to use most of the Hotel's facilities at no charge.

Hypoluxo Island

Town of Lantana

A small island of approximately 300 residences nestled along the shores of the Intracoastal Waterway, Hypoluxo Island is only a 15 minute drive from West Palm Beach, and a short stroll to the Atlantic Ocean. Hypoluxo was given its name in 1873 by Indians camping nearby and it means, "water all around." There are no business establishments located on the island and it remains a beautiful, unspoiled tropical paradise.

West Palm Beach

City of West Palm Beach

With wonderful shopping areas like the new City Place, numerous museums, and hundreds of restaurants, West Palm Beach is fast becoming the "in"city for home buyers. It is also home to the Port of Palm Beach and Palm Beach International Airport. There are numerous sports and recreational activities available to fit any lifestyle.
